The "ITALIA" Range
We are proud to have teamed up with two of Italy's prominent and best known Clerical Tailors in order to bring you a comprehensive (and constantly being expanded) range of the highest quality, Italian made garments and accessories. Made by artisans and from the finest materials and threads including fine Silks and Moires, these garments are truly the finest you will find the world over.
All Italia Range goods are made to order and as such can carry a small leadtime for delivery. More complicated and bespoke items such as Cassocks, Cloaks and such can take longer so please do enquire before placing any order or planning for that required date. Please note that Italia Range items are non-returnable due to their made to measure/order status (unless faulty in their manufacture)
In textiles, a moire is a fabric with a wavy (watered) appearance produced mainly from silk, but also wool, cotton and rayon. The watered appearance is usually created by the finishing technique called calendering. Moire effects are also achieved by certain weaves, such as varying the tension in the warp and weft of the weave, or by running the fabric through engraved copper rollers. Silk treated in this way is sometimes called watered silk.

Where embroidery and laces are a feature, these are both hand and machine applied to give you a truly magnificent and beautiful garment, using only the finest materials and threads. Higher grade polycottons and wools are the norm.

Buskins are essentially a liturgical form of "stocking" that is worn over the foot and up to the base of the knee where it is tied on with ribbons. This action is done in the course of the pontifical vesting rites. We offer a range of these stockings, which are handmade in Rome and to order.

We are now able to bring you a range of metal ornate clasps that are ideal on Copes, Humeral Veils and also Rochets. These high quality Italian items are manufactured in the highest grade materials and will last for years to come.
ITALIA Saturno Hat (Cappello romano)
A selection of traditional Saturno clergy hats, made to your sizing and requirements in Rome by our tailors. These wonderful, traditional hats are fast becoming popular again among clergy and we are pleased to be among the few who are able to bring you these items.
We are also able to offer you the cords and tassels for the Saturno too. All made to measure in Italy so please allow sufficient time for your garment to be crafted.

A range of both House and Choir style cassocks all of which are tailor made in Rome to your exact sizing and option requirements. Available in 3 standard weights of 100% pure fabric of wool. Optional coloured trims, silk buttons, sash loops, silk cuffs, Pellegrina and Mozzetta are all available.

ITALIA Overcoat (Greca Nero)
When the colder climate calls for a warm coat, clergy select the Greca Nero. Being of traditional styling, this overcoat is handmade in Rome and can be fitted with a standard wool collar or optional velvet collar facings.
ITALIA Cape (Mantello Nero)
An option to the Greca Nero, we are able to offer you the Matello Nero Cloak. Made from pure wool and with optional fastening and collar styles, this cloak lends itself ideally to outdoor services. It is particularly popular with clergy when conducting funeral graveside services.
ITALIA Veil SHAWL (Vimpa / Vimpae)
A must have for all parishes and for use by Servers when handling the Crozier and Mitre belonging to the Bishop. Made from the finest in silk fabric and supplied with cotton gloves.

ITALIA Pallio (Pallium)
Handmade in Rome from lambswool. The pallium is an ecclesiastical vestment in the Roman Catholic Church, originally peculiar to the Pope, but for many centuries bestowed by the Holy See upon metropolitans and primates as a symbol of their conferred jurisdictional authorities.
