Roman Style Dalmatics
We offer a comprehensive range of Roman style Dalmatics in various liturgical colours as well as various designs which are all made to order - lead times are estimated at 4 weeks to make to your requirements and/or sizing. The Roman style is unique in that the sides and sleevs are the garment are left open so the garment loosely represents a tabard style. This allows a full range of free movement for the Deacon wilst moving around the altar and/or assisting the main celebrant.

The shape of the vestment is essentially that of a "T" with the body of the dalmatic widening on a gradual angle as it proceeds toward the bottom of the vestment. The bottom hem of the vestment is cut in a straight horizontal line.
The standard patterm sizing of the Roman Dalmatic is: Length - 125cm front / Length - 125cm back / Total length - 250cm / Width - 150cm.
